Upgrade Corby Pro firmware

Now we will see how to update/upgrade your Samsung Corby Pro's firmware
This is the latest firmware available to update! B5310XXJF1

How to update


Stuff required :

• Corby Pro (of course)
• The USB cable
• Firmware(Included in download)
• Multiloader(Included in download)

So let's begin!
Make sure Samsung Kies in installed and you have connected your phone to the pc at least once.
Get kies

Extract the firmware to your desktop or anywhere else. Disable your phone lock and SIM lock.
Switch off your phone and remove your Memory card and SIM card.

Put your cellphone into Download mode. Press and hold the following buttons:
     - Volume down.
     - Power button.
     - Camera button.
Connect your phone with your pc with the USB cable.

Run the MultiLoader

Select the BRCM2153 on the right side of the program (see screenshot)
Tick Bootchange and Full Download
Leave Master Rom unticked (it bricks your phone)

Click the Boot button and browse to the extracted firmware and select the "boot" folder.
Click the Amss button and browse to the extracted firmware and select the amss.bin file.
Do the same for the rest of the buttons and select the appropriate files except FOTA, Tune, ETC.
Don't forget to select the PFS button.


Click on Port search
When the port search is ready, click download
It will take about 3 minutes. When it says "All files complete", disconnect your phone and insert your memory card and SIM card. Switch on your phone.

Use this code to perform a hard reset - *2767*3855# (it resets without confirmation so do it only if you want to reset your phone)
Check back for firmware updates! Make sure the power doesn't go off while upgrading. Best if you have a UPS :)
